day 26 - game night

our middle son, luke, LOVES to play board games.  a day doesn't go by that we aren't asked to play a game.  i on the other hand really don't enjoy playing board games - i get bored too quickly.  with the exception of settlers of catan i basically hate board games (especially monopoly).  nagel, aka the saint, will almost always say yes to a request to play monopoly, phase 10, creationary, rumi-cube, etc. bless his every loving heart!!

after dinner tonight the kids began playing a game.  although everyone is smiling in the photo, it did not end well.  lilly was left crying, luke was sent to his room and all three are already in bed for the night (it's 8:04pm)!  YIKES - how can a good thing go bad so quickly?  why is it that i so easily lose my temper when my kids aren't being gracious or kind to one another? reason #32 why i dislike board games!
